SHOW YOUR TALENTS
Can you sing like Adele? Does your band rival Guns and Roses? Sing with the soul of Ella Fitzgerald? Or maybe you can rap like Stormzy?
For the fourth year, an exciting competition opportunity for contemporary music soloists, duos and bands.
Come and watch local emerging artists perform, with an industry professional adjudicator in the chair.
With classes in three age categories, 12 and under, 16 and under and Open, this is sure to be an uplifting and inspiring day.
Audience

Rules and Regulations
Entrants can play one piece per section 4 minutes maximum (bands 5 minutes)
Age will calculated as of 01.09.25
Entrants whom are not using live music please provide a USB clearly labelled, mobile devices will not be accepted.
Bands and Duos have a total of 10 minutes set up and set down time. Although it is envisioned that the majority of the set up will be done with the tech team in advance of the event at the sound check.
Entrants may only enter 1 solo per category.
Entrants can compete in more than one duo as long as with a different competitor, but may not compete in more than two. A duo is 2 vocal performers only. A vocal with a live accompaniment , whether that accompaniment is provided by the singer, or someone else, should be entered in the relevant solo category.
The adjudicator’s decision is final, and no correspondence can be entered into regarding the result. Teachers and other parties may have no communication with the adjudicator prior to, or after the performance.
This Festival is for amateurs who, for the purpose of this Festival, do not receive more than out of pocket expenses for services rendered in music.
Entries must be made using the official form online. This must include the correct entry fee. Entries will not be accepted without payment, entries without online payment will be disregarded without further notice.
This Festival is bound by copyright law and cannot allow the use of photographic equipment including camera phones. This is strictly forbidden during performances and adjudications, for safeguarding purposes.
Entrants must take note of time allowances for each performance; failure to comply may result in disqualification.
The committee may combine Sections or Classes when entries are small and divide a class when entries are large.
Performers must perform in correct programme order and it is the responsibility of entrants to report backstage in due course for their performance.
Programmes will be issued online stating approximate times of each class, but the Festival reserves the right to commence any class up to 15 minutes earlier than published.
Children who are competing should be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
